Paul has been practicing law in West-Central Ohio since his graduation from Ohio Northern University and admission to the Ohio bar in 1985. He has extensive experience as a trial lawyer in federal, state, and local courts and has devoted many years to government services as the Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney (1992-2000) and solicitor for several villages.
Paul sees technology and the increasingly diverse needs of our society as dynamic forces in the practice of law. He strives to practice in accordance with the highest ethical standards while protecting the rights of our clients to the fullest. A priority is to maintain advanced computer technology, while devoting significant time and resources to his continuing legal education. This philosophy enables him to provide timely, quality legal services at a reasonable fee.
He has a broad base of experience in several areas, but today he devotes most of his practice to personal injury, wrongful death, trusts, wills and complex estate planning. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. He prepares wills, trusts, and other documents and plans estates for people with any size of estate, including those of high net-worth clients who want to minimize estate taxes and maximize their worth to pass to their families. His experience and court room skills help his clients navigate the maze of confusion and achieve successful results and plans specifically tailored to their needs.
Paul lives in Coldwater with his wife Joyce, who is a teacher who retired from Coldwater Junior High. Paul & Joyce have three grown children; Matt, Dean and Paula.
